Adrian J Wiggins
Adrian J. Wiggins is the Executive Director of the Office of Campus and Public Safety at Morgan State University. As the chief public safety officer, he leads the University’s safety, security,and law enforcement and emergency management services and works on the Threat Assessment Team.
Before taking this assignment, Mr. Wiggins served as the Chief of Police at Morgan State University for seven years. Prior to Morgan, Wiggins served for over a decade with the City University of New York Public Safety Department, ascending through the ranks to the position of Deputy Director of an urban campus. Mr. Wiggins holds a Masters Degree in Integrated Homeland Security Management and holds a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Security Assessment and Management, both from Towson University. He is a member of Historically Black Colleges and Universities Law Enforcement Executives and Administrators and the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators.
Adrian J. Wiggins volunteers his time providing workshops to churches and community groups about crime prevention, the perils of drugs and gang violence. Wiggins is an avid fisherman who is looking forward to helping Baltimore communities develop clean bodies of water that can sustain child friendly fishing opportunities as well as fishing opportunities that can challenge experienced fisherman.
